1. Password Reset Disk

The easiest way to recover your password is to use the Windows password reset disk. If you’ve a password reset disk or USB flash drive with you, then proceed to read the recovery steps below, otherwise skip this one and jump to 2nd tip.
Here are the simple steps to follow:
1. Boot your system with bootable password reset USB or floppy drive. This can be done by changing the boot devices settings from BIOS.
2. Follow easy on-screen instructions to create new password.
3. Enter new password and hint.
4.Take out the reset disk or flash drive.
5. Boot system with hard drive normally with your newly set password.

Now, Turn to your locked PC, insert the newly created CD or USB to your drive and boot from it. Follow the instructions to reset the password and there you go. Unlocked PC within few minutes.

3. Reset Password without any Tool

There are two simple ways to login your windows account without using any CD/USB or any software to reset password.

1. Administrator Account

During Windows installation an administrator account is created by default with a blank password and you don’t know about it. Because while setting up account in windows installation it anyhow asks to create your own account to login windows. But that administrator account is always created with no password on it.
At windows Login screen press:
Ctrl+Alt+Del keys simultaneously – twice – with a little pause between the presses.
This will open up a classic login screen which asks for widows login username and password. you can’t see any username at that screen but this can be cleverly used to login to that hidden administrator’s account to login the system.
Now, type “Administrator” (without quotes) in user name field and leave the password box empty. Hit the login button and voila!  Administrator’s account desktop with the master access to all the accounts of the system. You can now easily change or remove your account’s password by going to control panel> users accounts.

2. Safe Mode with Command Prompt

At system boot up, press F8 key repeatedly until you see a login options screen. Choose “Safe Mode with Command Prompt” and hit enter.
After few seconds you’ll see windows command prompt.
Now:
1. Type ” net user xxxx 12345 /add “(without quotes)
(where xxxx is the locked account name and 123456 is the new password to be set on this account).
2. Press enter.
You should see the Command Completed Successfully message on your screen.
for example:
net user zain 123456

The new password for user zain will be changed to 123456
